Alabama Recent Arrests is a private guide, not a sheriff's office, jail, court, or state agency. It cannot confirm custody, provide or remove a booking photo, accept bond, arrange a visit, or retrieve an official file. Contact the government office that holds the record for those services.
Find the Right Alabama Office
Alabama booking is handled locally. The right office depends on the arrest location, the agency that made the arrest, and the facility that received the person. Use the County Directory to open the relevant county guide and follow its current official links. A statewide Highway Patrol arrest, court case, county jail booking, and state-prison profile belong to separate agencies.
- County booking or photo: choose the county in the directory, then contact its sheriff or detention agency. The Alabama recent-arrests guide explains common fields and request paths.
- Same-day or older roster: use the Daily Arrest Report for short county windows and the Weekly Arrest Log for multi-day blotters.
- Trooper or Highway Patrol event: the ALEA Highway Patrol page explains news releases and report requests. ALEA lists the Highway Patrol statewide number as 334-676-6003 and email as highway.patrol@alea.gov on its official contact page; local booking questions still belong to the receiving jail.
- Court case or disposition: contact the clerk for the court that handled the case. Alabama's Just One Look provides case access for a fee, one case at a time, where available.
- State prison custody: use the Alabama Department of Corrections' official offender search. For federal detention, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator or ICE detainee locator; the federal prison locator does not provide booking photos.
- Victim custody notification: review the separate VINELink Inmate Check guide to identify county and state notification options.
For a correction to an official booking or court entry, contact its custodian and provide the record URL or case number plus supporting documents. For a request to inspect an arrest report, see Alabama public arrest records for the state-law framework. This website does not accept record requests on an agency's behalf.
